Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is a 15-minute free phone consultation that we will schedule after you fill out the contact form. This will give you the opportunity to share more about what’s been going on lately, what you hope to get out of therapy, get any questions answered and to see if we’d be a good fit. From there, we can schedule an intake appointment. Starting out, I like to meet clients on a weekly basis, if their schedule allows, for rapport building purposes.

Yes! I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim, and Optum.

I do not. I am currently only virtual in Massachusetts. This allows for more flexibility with client schedules and the opportunity for people to meet from the comfort of their own home. Due to licensing requirements, clients have to physically be in the state of Massachusetts to meet.

I am person-centered, meaning that I tailor my approach (and therapeutic modalities) to what is the best fit for the client. I am warm, collaborative, and solutions-focused. I will often suggest that a client practice a coping strategy in between appointments so that we can debrief and reflect on its effectiveness during the following session.
